WEST x WEST
West x West reimagines a 1920s Spanish home by seamlessly blending historical Spanish influences with modern aesthetics to craft a warm and inviting atmosphere. The redesign transforms the segmented ground floor into a vibrant, open space that reflects the family’s personality and adapts to their evolving needs. Custom millwork will be strategically layered to define functional zones within the open layout, fostering visual connections and an energized atmosphere while simultaneously creating areas for personal retreat. The transformation to the ground floor and thoughtful addition to the second level purposely integrates flexible spaces that accommodate both intimate family moments and larger gatherings. This approach creates a sophisticated, inviting home that combines historic charm with practical, adaptable living - resulting in spaces that are both beautiful and highly functional.
The design harnesses the traditional materiality of tile, terracotta and plaster and reimagines them – resulting in a crisp and modern home that is both timeless and dynamic. Embracing the client’s rich and playful personal aesthetics West x West explores a rich and varied palette of materials, textures, and colors. The result merges Spanish charm with contemporary design.
